Gutsy Version 1.2

Gutsy Version 1.2 is out now on iOS and Android!

The big change is scoring, both Speedruns and individual levels. Until now, a gold medal meant hitting par on every level in the run, all 75 of them if you ran all three Books. When you're having a really strong run and still finish with silver or bronze, it's pretty demoralizing and far more punishing than we ever intended. So we've given the medals a little more leniency. We also eased the par times on about 30 levels where almost nobody had ever hit 10,000. The levels themselves haven't changed; you just have a better shot at a good score.

On iOS, you can now challenge your friends to Speedruns through Game Center. Honestly, I mostly added it because I wanted to challenge Omni.

We also moved the game to Unity 6 to patch a security vulnerability, and fixed a handful of bugs. The full patch notes are on our Discord.

One last thing: the game may now ask you to rate it after a good run. Gutsy's marketing budget is exactly zero dollars, so if you're enjoying it, a rating really helps!

Thanks so much for playing!
