Reimagining Killer Color's Enemies

Killer Colors Behind the Scenes

With some new folks joining the server in the wake of Mix and Jam's recent video about Hey! Listen!!, I thought it'd be appropriate to give another quick behind-the-scenes look!

This short video contains a handful of enemy character models and walking animations that have been produced for the project. In Killer Colors, there are 7 possible colors that the player can utilize, and these colors must be used to defeat enemies that correspond with each color. The enemies of the game are the result of a botched experiment that attempted to utilize animal DNA to create artificial life, and so their shapes are distorted manifestations of these animals. We have a red fox, a yellow rabbit, a blue fish, an orange bird, a green frog, a purple ant, and a brown turtle.

All of these enemies were present in the original 2D prototype of the game, and have been brought into 3D with some fancy shader magic to make them feel extra goopy!
